The why ...as a profession, we are overrepresented for suicide and other mental health conditions.

The reality is that we can do better to protect our people from adverse effects of the career. It is possible to thrive, not just survive in EMS.

— Kate Elkins, MPH, an EMS specialist with the NHTSA Office of EMS and a longtime paramedic

Within Unity, We Find Strength…

Those that serve are only receiving the care or service as good as the mental readiness of those that are serving on the front line. We must start treating our health care professionals and those that serve the way we expect to give five-star service to those we serve. It is like the butterfly effect, improved mental readiness on the job and in personal life is like a tiny ripple and it goes a long way. Questions and comments are always welcome.

Without sustainable income and support stakeholders makes it hard to reach the NPSN's B.H.A.G. ( Big Hairy Audacious Goal )

Thank you for your time and support in advance. www.nvpsn.org
