Incident Support Program

WHERE YOU THRIVE, NOT JUST SURVIVE

within unity we find strength

If you’re a retired member of the fire and emergency services community, we understand the unique challenges that come with retirement, including the loss of camaraderie and a sense of purpose. The Nevada Peer Support Network (NPSN) is here to support you during this transition, offering a range of free activities and programs designed to foster connection, well-being, and continued service.

be part of the team

As part of our commitment to retirees, we’ve established the Incident Support/Rehab Service, a team staffed entirely by retired Fire and EMS personnel on a voluntary basis. Our dedicated team operates an ambulance/rescue truck and a fire utility vehicle, providing essential rehab and canteen services at large fires or long-term emergency incidents within the County.

We invite you to join our Incident Support/Rehab Team! With 24 retirees currently on the team, many of whom you may already know, we believe that your experience and expertise would be a valuable addition. This service won’t take up much of your time, with an estimated 2-3 callouts per month during the summer and fewer in the winter. Training sessions are efficient, and we even offer driver training if you’re interested. Plus, we organize social events for our members, creating opportunities for camaraderie and continued connection.
